Travelers between Wenatchee and Chelan should take Hwy. 97

US 97A Both Directions – US 97A is closed from milepost 200 to milepost 206 due to fire activity from the Stemilt roundabout, just north of Wenatchee to Swakane Canyon Rd, 8 miles south of Entiat.
Travelers should avoid the area and use US 97 as an alternate North-South route. There is currently no estimated time for reopening.
