Goats come off a vaillant win in OT last week to face CTL powerhouse Omak tonight

The theme of last week was believe, and the players kept fighting and believing and they won a great battle. Our defense played tough and made plays all night, and our offense did a better job managing the game and making the plays we needed in order to win.

In overtime we put the game in the hands of Senior do it all, weight room guy Tobin Wier. Tobin had over 10 carries  in the fourth quarter alone,  and he had the knockout punch in overtime at running back.

Our offensive line came alive late in the game and really stuck it to Cascades front. We had no doubts in overtime and proved it with a quick 3 and out on defense and a TD on offense.

This week will be a huge challenge. Omak is one of the best teams in the state. If we continue to believe we can be dangerous. Especially at home where we have the best Friday night football atmosphere in the CTL.

GO GOATS!!!!

Editors Note: On 10/18 Chelan beat Cascade 13-7 in OT. Both are now 5-2 on the season. Chelan faces 7-0 Omak this Friday (10/25)  for Senior Night at Sargeant Field.
