Christmas Trees will Fuel Winterfest Bonfire

Now that the Christmas decorations are safely stored for another year, it’s time to recycle the tree.
In the Lake Chelan Valley, your tree will be put to good use as part of the massive beach bonfire that greets polar bear “plungers” on Saturday night (1/19) during the Lake Chelan Winterfest. Just bring your tree, will all decorations removed, to the marina parking lot at Don Morse Park between now and January 18th.
City Parks personnel will transport the trees safely down to the beach for the bonfire.
