Manson Boys Overpower Soap Lake; Girls Pull Out a Close Win

Manson traveled to Soap Lake on Tuesday for a league contest which ended with a “W” for both the boys and girls.

Manson Boys 63 – Soap Lake 17

Manson traveled to Soap Lake and left with a solid victory.  Manson lead the whole way and cruised to a 63-17 win.  The Trojans were lead by Titus Petersen with 20 and Nick Strecker had 14.

Coach Helleson stated that “I was happy with our defensive effort all night and felt like we executed better on offense in the second half.”

Manson Girls 33 – Soap Lake 30

The Manson Girls overcame a 6 point 4^th quarter deficit to win an early league game.  Manson was led by Katie Gosvener with 10 points and Loren Soliday and Evelyn De Jesus both had 8 points and 8 rebounds.

Manson travels to Bridgeport on Friday.
