Chelan Pulls Out the Win Over Cascade

Reported by Coach Jennifer Rainville, photo by Richard Uhlhorn, All Things Lake Chelan

On Tuesday, Chelan hosted the Cascade Kodiaks.  We started out slow and ended up digging a hole 0-5 in the first set.  I called a time out and talked to my team.  The girls were excited and anxious but were playing tight and timid.  I am proud of how we battled back and ended up taking the first set 25-23.

We did the same thing in the beginning of set two but were able to bounce back and take set 2: 25-22.  We started out strong and confident in set 3 and won 25-12.  I am so proud of how we played and remained calm during this close match.  The gym was full and energized, it was a great night to watch 2 amazing teams battle.  The last time Chelan beat Cascade was during the post season of 2013.
