Certification program teaches life and safety skills

This spring’s SafeSitter Course, taught by Chelan Hospital EMS, will be June 17-18, 9:oo a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Chelan Fire Station, 232 E. Wapato Ave.

SafeSitter is a medically accurate, up-to-date babysitting course that teaches young teens (11-13) life and safety skills. Cost is $75. Lunch provided both days. Call 509-682-6120 or email ems@lcch.net to register.

SafeSitter curriculum provides hands-on practice in lifesaving technique and instruction, including how to run your own babysitting business and basic first aid, infant and child choking rescue and CPR.
