Heads up: Low Flying Helicopters doing PUD Inspections

Helicopters will be spotted over transmission lines Wednesday

 information released by Chelan PUD

Residents may see a helicopter flying low and slowly along transmission lines as crews conduct a maintenance inspection on Wednesday, May 5.

The flight will follow power lines from Cashmere east to Wenatchee, south to Palisades, and along both sides of the Columbia River up to the Chelan area. The inspection will begin around 7 a.m. and continue through late afternoon.
