Chelan will host Connell for Senior Night Double Header

The Chelan Goats won two games and lost one this past week. The Goats hit a bump in the road on Thursday, dropping a hard fought extra inning loss to Brewster by the score of 6-5. Quinn Stamps hit a 2 run home run, and Gage Estes hit a solo homer in the loss. The loss broke an 11 game winning streak by the Goats.

Saturday, they travelled to Cashmere to take on the Bulldogs, and came away with two convincing wins by the scores of 14-0 and 16 -5. With the two wins, the Goats not only swept the Bulldogs in all three games this season, but swept the entire CTL winning all nine league games.

In game one, the offense came alive early and often, rapping out 12 hits. Bryson Darlington had two hits, including his 2nd home run of the season. In all, 10 different players recorded at least one hit. Sam Austin came away with his 5th win of the season on the mound, tossing a one hit complete game.

Game two featured more of the same from the Goats offense, Gage Estes, Colt Corrigan, Breckin Sporseen, Quinn Stamps and Kenny Reeves each had two hits in the game. Estes, Corrigan, and Stamps  each added to their home run totals on the season. Cade Christopherson was the winner on the mound.

Next Up: Three Non league games this week with the Goats travelling to Liberty Bell on Tuesday, and hosting a double header with Connell on Friday, which will be senior night. The Goats are now 13-2 on the season.
