Purchase of Lady of the Lake Nearly Complete

DISCOVER LAKE CHELAN April 18th, 2019, Chelan,WA: As of April 2019, Brun Garfoot and Reed Courtney are proud to announce the launch of their new company, Discover Lake Chelan.
Discover Lake Chelan is a Lake Chelan based company with deep roots in the Chelan Valley from Stehekin to Chelan and many places between. As locals who grew up in Stehekin and have spent a great deal of their adult lives in Chelan, Brun and Reed feel very in tune to all aspects of the Lake Chelan Valley- including residents, local businesses, the tourist populace- and their needs.
As you have heard Discover Lake Chelan’s first action was to purchase the Lake Chelan Boat Company, (aka the Lady of the Lake. Passenger Ferry on Lake Chelan) a business that has served Chelan, Stehekin and Holden Village destinations for over forty years. The process of finalizing this purchase from the Jack Raines Family is nearly complete.
The primary goal of Discover Lake Chelan is to connect every part of Lake Chelan; from transportation up and down the lake to activities and places to go in Chelan, Stehekin and the shores between. Discover Lake Chelan believes that creating a point of reference with local knowledge and connections is vital to enhance the customer experience.
Discover Lake Chelan aims to place exceptional customer service at the core of its foundation. One of the first steps in prioritizing customer service is having someone manage Public Relations who have firsthand experience and understanding of the Lake Chelan Valley. Discover Lake Chelan is pleased to announce Clancy Courtney has been hired on as our Public Relations Liaison. This is a necessary first step in order to best serve the needs of the customers and help Reed and Brun as they begin to roll out a strategy that will enhance teamwork, elevate customer service and provide a launching platform for new and enhanced services.
