The Goats baseball team secured their second consecutive District Title yesterday by defeating the Okanogan Bulldogs 1-0. at OBrien Stadium in Ephrata.

It was a hard fought battle, with two Chelan seniors leading the way to earn the title. Sam Austin got the start on the mound, tossing  a 83 pitch, 3 hit, zero walk, 6 strikeout game. This was a classic  Austin game, in total control the entire way, and earning his 6th win of the season. The potent Chelan offense was held to only six hits in the contest, with Colt Corrigan getting 3 of them.

In the bottom of the 7th, Gage Estes worked on walk, bringing the Whitworth bound Corrigan to the plate for the potential game winner. Game winner indeed, as Corrigan crushed a line drive double off the center field fence scoring Estes from first for the walk off victory.
