Don’t let the name fool you. The 38th Annual Lake Chelan Bach Fest, which kicked off their 10-day Music Festival last night, features more than the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. This year, the series features a diverse program of performances ranging from Bach to Pops, and from Mozart to…Flamenco?

Over 100 instrumentalists and vocalists from all over the country will be performing a wide variety of music. The Bach Fest Orchestra with soloists and chorus, the Festival String Quartet, and Festival Woodwind Quintet will thrill audiences with music from the great classical composers including Bach, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky along with the works of Gershwin, Souza and Rogers and Hammerstein.

The 2019 Lake Chelan Bach Fest schedule features several free performances, including the Winery Series and Pops in the Park, others charge a modest admission fee. Donations to help fund this non program organization are always accepted. Attendees can buy tickets in advance or individual event and series tickets can also be purchased at any Bach Fest event.
