Arts Council Moves Lake Chelan Arts Festival to June

The Lake Chelan Arts Council announces that their largest fundraising event, the Lake Chelan Arts Festival,  will be held Saturday and Sunday June 22nd and 23rd, 2019, moving the annual Festival from its usual date in August.

Moving to June increases the chance for fair weather so exhibitors can participate in a successful event and Festival goers can enjoy all the Festival has to offer:  beautiful artwork, live music, good food and family fun, surrounded by the natural beauty of Chelan, WA. Festival hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on June 22nd and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on June 23rd.

Exhibitor applications for this juried show are being accepted thru March 31, 2019.  A prospectus and application can be downloaded from the Arts Council website.

In addition, the Lake Chelan Arts Council holds a Silent Auction of donated works of art starting on May 20th, a month before the Arts Festival.  The donated artwork is put on exhibit at the Lake Chelan Library on May 20th and is then moved to the Arts Festival, for continued bidding June 22nd and 23rd.  Winning bids will be announced at 4:00 p.m. on the 23rd. Donated art is being accepted thru May 13th. An artist submittal form for donating artwork to the Silent Auction can be found online.
