Fashions and Accessories are on the Menu at Sorrento’s Ristorante

The lunch and wine-tasting menu at Sorrento’s Ristorante is about to get more fashionable, thanks to Main Street Gallery.

Each Wednesday between June 27th and September 19th, the mid-day experience at Tsillan Cellars will include a low-key, high fashion show featuring outfits and accessories available through Chelan’s Main Street Gallery.

Main Street Gallery former owner, Barb Koenig (son Dave Koenig is the current owner), indicated the fashion, food & wine partnership has been part of the Tsillan Cellars landscape for about 5 years.

She credits Tsillan Cellars owner, Bob Jankelson, for his invitation and encouragement of their weekly showcase.

“Seeing an outfit put together on a live model inspires people to get more creative with their clothing,” explains Barb. “And it’s so much fun for us too!”

Barb, along with her daughter and grandaughter (pictured), as well as friends, customers and employees, model several outfits in a casual stroll through the restaurant. They pause to chat with patrons about the clothing and accessories, and if the size/style is perfect – Barb says they will literally sell the clothes off their backs.

More often, however, the customer will stop by the store in downtown Chelan to browse the extensive options available.

The weekly fashion show starts at 12:30 p.m. and concludes around 2:00 p.m. Reservations are not required, but are recommended by calling 509-682-9463.
