The Lake Chelan Rotary Club had a busy Easter Weekend.

As sponsor of KOZI’s Golden Egg Hunt, the Rotary Club was responsible for creating dozens of rhyming clues to help people find the $500 prize egg.

It was discovered by Donene Hendricks and her sons, Tanner and Collin, on Saturday morning at the “stinky fields” near the horseshoe pit.

Additionally, the Rotary Club pitched in to restore the rock wall across from the Forest Service and tidy up the surrounding grounds.

The Lake Chelan Rotary Club is part of a world wide service organization. The local club was chartered in 1926 and has been actively supporting a variety of projects in the community and around the world ever since. For additional information about the Lake Chelan Rotary Club, visit their website
