By Loni Rahm

Chelan Valley Young Life is holding their 4th Annual Golf Classic on Friday, May 4th at Bear Mountain Ranch Golf Course.

Put together your own foursome, or Young Life can team you up with others for a great day of golf. Registration is $150 per golfer or $500 per team, and includes:

  • Golf
  • Power Cart
  • Lunch
  • Tee Prize
  • Range Balls

The Friday Golf schedule kicks off at the driving range which will open at 7:33 a.m., followed by on site registration starting at 8:01 a.m.

Tournament shot gun start is scheduled for 9:09 a.m., with lunch delivery to the golfers around 12:12 p.m. Prizes and awards will be announced at 2:02 p.m.

Tournament organizer Clarissa Steiner indicated there are still sponsorship opportunities available. The Birdie ($650) and Eagle ($1,500) levels include a foursome team registration and “really awesome shirts”, said Steiner.

Non golfers can also support the Young Life fundraising effort through sponsorship. Hole sponsors start at just $250 and do not include golf registration.

According to Steiner, The proceeds for this tournament support programs and activities for Chelan Valley Young Life (high school students) and WyldLife (middle school students).

Young Life is a Christian organization committed to reaching adolescents and helping them grow in their faith. Since its beginnings in the Lake Chelan Valley just a little over 5 years ago, hundreds of Chelan and Manson  students have become involved with Young Life and WyldLife through Clubs and Camps.
